Two timeless workmen have a job to do, but are driven to dance. Tony and Ray have a penchant for movement and stealing their moment.
With a "work" box on wheels which houses their music and some unexpected equipment, here are two mobile, mature men, who are surprisingly quick on their feet.
Inspired by the Vaudeville and Variety acts of the past, Tony and Ray make a show of magical silent clowning, slapstick and eccentric-dance, incorporating ingenious contraptions and a surprising finale.
Friendship, rivalry, work tools, tomfoolery and dance. Unexpected, uplifting and undeniably funny.
Jon Hicks has been a regular performer at Hat Fair for over 20 years, appearing with a variety of shows - his signature panting act alone has featured in around 10 Hat Fair festivals.
