Life's a Beach is a joyous - if occasionally chaotic - window into a day at the seaside.

This fun and playful observation of family life at the beach also explores deeper themes, touching on issues such as sewage in our seas and antisocial behaviour.

Blending their signature dance and circus fusion, the performers create a work that is familiar, nostalgic, and full of humour.

Told through the life cycle of a couple living by the sea - from their twenties through to old age - the show presents hilarious snapshots of selfie obsessions, obnoxious beach antics, and embarrassing swimwear!

As the story unfolds, audiences are often moved to tears by tender moments of friendship, seaside meditation, dog walking, and the couple’s journey through life together.

With a movement language that fuses dynamic, graceful dance with theatrical acrobatics, Life's a Beach creates a vivid world full of relatable characters and heartwarming storytelling.

Based in Ringwood, Hampshire, Joli Vyann are thrilled to be performing in their home county. Hat Fair has been a passionate supporter of their work since the company was founded in 2013, and remains a festival they love dearly.
