Hat Fair

Winchester Hat Fair: 35 Years Old

And now, for the next 35 years...

 WINCHESTER HAT FAIR 2009

"One of the great pleasures of street arts festivals is that they make you slow down and put the wonder back into everyday life. Wherever you were in Winchester at this years' Hat Fair, you could hear the distant sound of laughter – as if the whole town was smiling together."
Lyn Gardner – Theatre Critic, The Guardian, Monday 6 July 2009

Winchester Hat Fair, the UK’s longest running Street Arts festival celebrated its 35th birthday this year with four days of the best in outdoor performance and live entertainment.

We'd like to thank all the Incredible Artists who came from all over the world this year and entertained everyone with their fantastic shows.

We'd also really like to thank all our wonderful and hard working Volunteers and Production crew who helped to put this year's event together.

Next year's Festival will be from the 1st - 4th July 2010.
