Make sure you're free to come and enjoy this year's very exciting program of World Class Street Arts Artists and Companies from as far a field as New Zealand, Australia and even Sussex...

If you did miss out on last year's festival here are some of the highlights;

HIGHLIGHTS 2009

Last year’s programme featured artists from all over the globe, from as far a field as America, New Zealand, Canada, Australia and all over Europe. Special highlights on the small scale line-up last year included The Incredible talents of Los Dos Play, The Wau Wau Sisters, Mario Queen of The Circus and Orkestra Del Sol and many more circle acts that you would have never seen the likes of before. Over the weekend there was also some wonderful and interactive Installations around the town, Cathedral Green and Close including, The Insect Circus Museum, The Amazing Camera Obscura and Bootworks show, ‘Little Box of Horrors’ to name but a few. We were delighted to be able to present Close Acts breathtaking show ‘Saurus’, Heliosphere's beautiful 'Dream Engine' and the wonderful if dimmunative Flying Buttresses and many many more walkabout acts to surprise and entertain you.

And let's not forget the wonderful Ozzie, Leeroy Hart with his shows and hilarious Laughter Yoga Workshop which kicked Saturday off on Cathedral Green with a phenomenal amount of joy and fun, well done to all those who took part, and then the laughing never stopped, as Lyn Gardner, Theatre Critic from The Guardian put it;

"One of the great pleasures of street arts festivals is that they make you slow down and put the wonder back into everyday life. Wherever you were in Winchester at this years' Hat Fair, you could hear the distant sound of laughter – as if the whole town was smiling together."

This is just a small selection of last year's program, we'd like to thanks all the brilliant Artists and wonderful Audiences who came, enjoyed, applauded, cheered and astounded us all in 2009, making the festival one of the best yet,

"HAT'S OFF TO YOU ALL"
