Hat Fair Market
The Hat Fair Market is a vibrant part of the celebrations with a strong focus on local and original goods and produce. The Market is being held in Market Street and a new venue in Colebrook Street Car Park. We have a range of food and drinks available in Abbey Gardens on Saturday and Oram's Arbour on Sunday.
This year's stalls include hand-made dichronic and silver jewellery, original artworks, juggling equipment, crafts from Thailand, India, Tibet, Africa and Morocco, vintage adverts in funky forms, portrait photography from and award winning designer, hand-made clothes and children's t-shirts, lace skirts, saris, scarves, bags from recycled materials and, of course, HATS! Hat Fair t-shirts will be on sale at £10 each as well as Hat Fair A2 Posters for £3 each.
