Information for Stallholders
Winchester Hat Fair: June 29th - July 1st 2007
Hat Fair is Britain's longest running celebration of street theatre and community.
Each year, over the first weekend in July, thousands of people travel to the historic city of Winchester from throughout the south of England and experience outdoor theatre at its best.
Friday
The traditional arts and craft market of 10 stalls will run in the Square (times approximately 9am-4.30pm subject to licensing). If you would like to apply to trade on the Friday please do so; if permission is refused you will be refunded.
Saturday
Arts and Craft market on The Broadway (Times approximately 9am start with an option to leave at 5.30pm - allow yourself time to be packed up and off site by 6.30pm - or stay on until 11.30pm). Please follow booking procedures as usual and we will refund if new arrangements are not suitable.

Sunday
At Picnic in the Park (12 - 6.30pm) we aim to have approximately 30 stalls but guarantee no direct competition, there will be opportunities for up to 6 catering concessions (there is space for trailers).
If you would like to trade at Hat Fair please read the attached terms and conditions. If you are happy with these complete and sign the enclosed booking form and return it with a cheque made payable to Hat Fair.
Stalls are offered on the basis of quality, ethics and originality, not on a first come first served basis so please ensure you give us enough information to judge your stall fairly.
Please send full information on your goods. Include menus, photographs, price lists in fact anything that will distinguish you from others. Whilst we allow similar goods to be sold we do not allow direct competition.
Discounts are available for booking consecutive days - see booking form for details. Please note that most prices have not increased this year and remained as of 2005.
